Integrity Day Celebration Returns to Newark on August 20, 2026

Integrity House is proud to host its third annual Integrity Day celebration on August 20, 2026. Co-hosted by the Newark Department of Health and Community Wellness, this free community event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lincoln Park in Newark, with a rain date of August 27, 2026.

Now in its third year, Integrity Day brings together Newark residents, health professionals, and community organizations to celebrate wellness, promote connection, and support the health and well-being of the Newark community. Since establishing its permanent headquarters in Newark’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, Integrity House has expanded its outreach, healthcare, and treatment programs throughout New Jersey while remaining deeply rooted in the city where its mission began in 1968.

Community members are invited to connect with local organizations, access health resources, and learn more about services available throughout Newark and the surrounding region. Attendees will have access to a variety of free wellness activities and services, including:

  • Screenings for substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and infectious diseases
  • Vital sign checks
  • Risk reduction supplies, including naloxone
  • Health and wellness information and resources
  • A community dance class and other family-friendly activities
  • A raffle, free food, music, and giveaways

Integrity Day will also feature community health and social service organizations that provide support, resources, and services to individuals and families throughout Newark and the surrounding region. Participating organizations include START – The Center for Great Expectations, Essex County Community Health, Covenant House New Jersey, YMCA of Newark and Vicinity, Isaiah House, Greater Essex Counseling Services, NJCRI, CURA, Inc., RWJ Barnabas Health Institute for Prevention and Recovery, and Care Plus NJ, among others.

Integrity House is grateful to the sponsors whose support makes this event possible, including NJM Insurance Group, Care Plus NJ, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Posen Architects, and Conner Strong & Buckelew.
