We are excited to announce our Food Service Coordinator opening!

Primary Duties and Responsibilities of a Food Service Coordinator:

  • Prepare and serve all meals in strick accordance to Food Services Director, Doctor and Dietitians Directives
  • Assist in planning, preparation, and serving at Integrity House events (holidays, special events)
  • Assist in ordering, food acquisitions, and menu planning
  • Comply with health codes; ensure the cleanliness of refrigerators, stoves, pantries, cooking, serving and dining areas
  • Maintain daily schedule and required documentation
  • Facilitate vocational development and training of clients assigned to Kitchen
  • Ensure food rotation and restocking is in adherence to expiration dates
  • Follow and implement all Integrity policies and procedures
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule (as per business demands)
  • Must be able to Travel (demands based on business needs)
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on operational agency needs

Preferred Qualifications for a Food Service Coordinator

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Up to one (1) year of experience working in a food service establishment (required).

Required Licensing or Certifications:

  • ServSafe (National Restaurant Association)
  • Food Handlers (American National Standards Institute)
  • First Aide / CPR required within 1st year of employment
  • Valid NJ Driver’s License (preferred)

Since 1968, Integrity House has provided comprehensive and compassionate addiction treatment services for individuals with substance use disorders. Physical/Medical Requirements: Before hire, candidates shall be required to show a negative TB skin test and positive titers for the MMR. Candidates will also be required to undergo SUD pre-boarding requirements, including drug testing, fingerprinting, and a physical exam.
