What is Harm Reduction?
Harm reduction is a set of compassionate and practical strategies aimed at reducing the negative consequences associated with high-risk behaviors. Harm reduction includes access to sterile equipment, drug checking equipment, Naloxone, and health and social services. Equally important, harm reduction is a mindset that recognizes everyone deserves access to care regardless of their relationship with substances.
