Integrity Wellness Center in Newark!
Located just off Broad Street, a block away from historic Lincoln Park, the Integrity Harm Reduction Center provides a welcoming space for individuals who use substances to safely access the services and supplies they need to achieve improved quality of life, at no cost. The center is located directly across the street from the Integrity Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), which offers walk-in access to outpatient mental health services, primary care, and other services to anyone in need of care, regardless of their ability to pay. The IWC is open on Monday – Friday from 9am – 4:30pm.
Services:
- Sterile equipment, including needles and syringes
- Collection of used needles and syringes
- Drug-checking equipment, including fentanyl testing strips
- Naloxone
- Education and printed materials on proper needle and syringe disposal, overdose prevention, safer substance use, HIV, viral hepatitis, and other topics.
- Contraception and HIV, STI, and Hepatitis testing and referrals
- Wound care kits
- Personal care items
- Peer support
- Care coordination, including linkage to mental health services, primary care and specialty health services, addiction treatment, housing assistance, and other services
