Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse – Contract Assignment

Since 1968, Integrity, Inc. has provided comprehensive and successful rehabilitation services for individuals with substance abuse disorder. We are CARF accredited and are recognized nationwide as a leader in addiction services. We are seeking a Psychiatric APN with line reporting to the Senior Clinical Director.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnose or assess treatments and monitor clients’ medication usage and results
  • Prescribe medication
  • Document clients’ medical and psychological histories, physical assessment results, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions and outcomes
  • Oversee Psychiatric Resident interns
  • Provide program staff with direct clinical information, support and recommendations to address and manage client crisis
  • Actively participate as a positive member of the multi-disciplinary team and clinical community
  • Participate in the Admissions process and provide clinical feedback and recommendations
  • Coordinate with the Clinical Director and medical staff for the care of all clients including those requiring specialty therapies
  • Coordinate with the Clinical Director and medical staff for billing services which were provided
  • Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical mental health therapy to clients
  • Educate clients and their families regarding treatment process
  • Travel within the State of NJ required

Job qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Science in nursing
  • Master of Arts in Psychiatric/Mental Health/Nursing
  • Advanced Practice Nurse (APN)
  • Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
  • Valid driver’s license¬†required
  • Valid DEA license
  • Valid CDS license
  • Certification to prescribe Suboxone
  • 1 year experience in mental health and 3 years experience in psychiatric evaluations
