On behalf of our Board of Trustees, the Gala Committee, and staff, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all who attended the Integrity House’s first virtual Gala on Thursday, November 18th.
Every year, Integrity House recognizes extraordinary individuals whose commitment and dedication to our cause is impactful and outstanding. At this year’s gala, we were privileged to present honors to N.J. Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle for her efforts in combating the opioid crisis, Denise V. Rodgers, M.D., FAAFP, Vice Chancellor of Interprofessional Programs at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) for her commitment to the well-being of the citizens of Newark during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Integrity House Board of Trustees also selected the Integrity House staff for their unwavering commitment to our clients and dedication to the organization during these unprecedented times.
Since 2002, our annual gala has attracted hundreds of guests and garnered support for critical behavioral health programs and services. This year, our gala raised over $100,000 for programs and services, including our Women’s Supportive Housing Program. Women are especially vulnerable to substance use disorder and require additional support. The Women’s Supportive Housing Program addresses this need by offering 40 homeless women safe and substance-free housing and support for handling work, childcare, and other day-to-day responsibilities. If you could not join us at the gala, you can still help sustain this critical program by donating today.
