Since 1968, Integrity, Inc. has provided comprehensive and successful rehabilitation service for individuals with drug and alcohol related problems in the state of New Jersey. We are CARF accredited and are recognized nationwide as a leader in addiction services. Integrity has been awarded a grant through September 2015 to provide subsidized supportive housing to people with addictions.  These subsidies will ensure that clients can remain enrolled in an independent living situation and continue to receive recovery assistance to be able to control their addiction.  The nurse will meet with clients to assess their health needs and assist them in obtaining additional medical assistance if necessary.

 

To qualify, you must be an RN or LPN, possess a valid drivers license and be able and willing to visit clients to fit with their work schedules, including some visits occurring at night or on weekends.  Experience with in-house care is preferred but not required.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct initial nursing assessments of clients and document the assessments in Integrity’s electronic health records
  • Conduct quarterly in-home reassessments and check-ups on up to 73 clients
  • Conduct medication management sessions and educate clients in the home as requested
  • Assist case managers in the referral process for clients requiring more intensive medical interventions
  • Provide and document education on medication and side effects, psychiatric rehabilitation, psychotropic drug treatments and universal precautions/infection control

The successful applicant will be responsible for performing routine and/or emergency maintenance and repairs, and assist on construction projects throughout the 15-building campus.

Work shifts available are as follows:

Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Routine upkeep and repairs to various equipment or facilities.
  • Work as a member of a construction crew on minor renovation projects, this may include working as a carpenter, plumber, electrician, painter, roofer, flooring installer, or other trade, or as an assistant to one of those trades.
  • Follow-up and monitoring of previous work.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective communication (verbal, written and listening) skills and fluency in the English language.
  • Construction experience (any trade considered) and/or experience working in a facilities maintenance position
  • Ability to work with others as a team member, and willingness to take and follow directions.
  • Ability to exercise rational judgment.
  • Valid NJ driver’s license required.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus but not required

COUNSELOR POSITION

Women’s Long-Term Residential Program, Secaucus, NJ

 

Ideal Starting Position

 

 

Since 1968, Integrity, Inc. has provided comprehensive and successful rehabilitation services for individuals with substance abuse disorder.  We are CARF accredited and are recognized nationwide as a leader in addiction services.  We are seeking a part-time 25 hours per week Counselor in our Secaucus location.  The incumbent is responsible for providing group and individual case management for clients with substance abuse and/or behavioral problems in a Therapeutic Community setting.  Other responsibilities include representing Integrity’s multi-disciplinary treatment team’s clinical opinion in court hearings for clients.

 

Hours are somewhat flexible: Monday, Tuesday or Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. plus 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday or Sunday.  Only Wednesday 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Thursday 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. are required hours.

 

Due to the flexibility in work hours, this position may be ideal for a student working towards an MSW or perhaps someone working limited hours as a Counselor.  The only requirements are a Bachelor’s degree and a passion for helping people with addictions reclaim their lives.

 

Integrity provides free clinical supervision and reimburses the application cost for a CADC when it is passed.

This is an entry level job, with the potential to progress into a position in the counselor job structure.

Counselor Tech are responsible for overseeing random urine samples, transporting clients, bringing meals to program location and various additional tasks outlined by the program lead.

Work shifts available are as follows:

Long-Term Residential TC Program                                
Monday – Friday 6pm – 11pm

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalency required and up to one years’ experience in a human social services environment.

  • Effective communication (verbal, written and listening) skills and fluency of English language.
  • Ability to establish solid working relationships with integrity’s clients and co-workers, and have the capability to exercise rational judgment in an emergency and have knowledge
  • Bi-lingual Spanish (preferred but not required)

Requirements

  • CADC, LAC, LSW
  • Undergraduate Degree in Human/ Social Services or related field.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in human services fieldwork
  • In-depth knowledge of the causes and effects of drugs/alcohol and addiction on individuals and families.
  • Understanding of crisis management.
  • Understanding of addictions recovery and 12-steps.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish)
  • Capability in needs and risk assessment.
  • Comprehension of case management and record keeping activities.

Your Entry Level Opportunity to Addictions Treatment

 

 

Since 1968, Integrity House has provided comprehensive and successful rehabilitation services for individuals with substance use disorders.  Integrity House is CARF accredited and recognized nationwide as a leader in addiction services.  Integrity has been awarded a grant through September 2015 to provide subsidized supportive housing to people with addictions.  These subsidies will ensure that clients can remain enrolled in an independent living situation and continue to receive recovery assistance to be able to control their addiction.  Housing Case Managers will be eligible to receive clinical supervision towards earning their CADC.

 

These positions are responsible for facilitating services to clients enrolled in supportive housing programs to help them achieve independent living including:

  • Assessing, evaluating, providing and documenting using the Housing First model
  • Documenting in electronic health records recovery plans reflecting SAMHSA’s 8 Wellness Dimensions, initial enrollment surveys, service termination surveys and case management sessions on all clients
  • Utilizing Motivational Interviewing in the delivery of case management sessions in the client’s residence (2 hours per week to each caseload client)
  • Maintain a caseload of 12 clients with various types of behavioral health needs
  • Utilize community resources such as B.L.E.S.S.E.D. ministries, DVR, JVS, and DMHAS career services to assist clients to obtain sustaining employment

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human services related field
  • Driver’s license
  • Previous experience optional – we will train you
