Title Part-Time Facility Coordinator
Location Secaucus, NJ
Job Information

This is an entry level job, with the potential to progress into a position in the counselor job structure.

Facility Coordinators are responsible for maintaining a safe living environment in the facility through regular head counts, runs of the building and grounds, constant alertness of student member activities, adherence to a daily schedule, and documentation of facility incidents.

Work shifts available are as follows:
Saturday & Sunday 7am – 3pm
Saturday & Sunday 11pm – 11am                 
Saturday & Sunday 3pm – 11pm     
Saturday & Sunday 11am – 11pm                 
Saturday & Sunday 11am – 11pm

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalency required and up to one years’ experience in a human social services environment.
  • Customer service or security officer function preferred.
  • Effective communication (verbal, written and listening) skills and fluency of English language.
  • Ability to establish solid working relationships with student members and co-workers, and have the capability to exercise rational judgment in an emergency and have knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic community and a valid NJ driver’s license preferred.

Title Part-Time Counselor Positions

Job Information

The Counselor is responsible for providing group and individual case management for student-members with substance abuse and/or behavioral problems in a Therapeutic Community setting.  Other responsibilities include representing Integrity’s multidisciplinary treatment team’s clinical opinion in court hearings for student members, in multi-agency team meetings, and other external meetings as required.

 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalency required.
  • Master’s Degree in Human Services or CADC.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in human services fieldwork or CADC.
  • Experience in substance abuse program management, delivery and evaluation.
  • In-depth knowledge of the causes and effects of drugs/alcohol and addiction on individuals and families.
  • Understanding of crisis management and the ability to deal with life threatening situations including the prevention of suicide.
  • Understanding of addictions recovery and 12-steps.
  • Capability in needs and risk assessment.
  • Comprehension of case management and record keeping activities.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic community preferred.
