Tote Bags for Children
Student-members from the Bate programs decorated tote bags to send to children in Bosnia.  The bags were brought to children in Bosnia in June 2011. Altogether, over a dozen bags were beautifully painted!

Planting Flowers for the City of Newark
Men from the Newark adult residential programs planted a garden of flowers in Lincoln Park. They planted the flowers to welcome those attending the opera at Symphony Hall to Newark.

Guest Speakers at Secaucus Public  School
Student members from our Secaucus campus were invited to  be guest speakers at Secaucus High School on June 22nd and 25th, 2010. These men volunteered their time to share their stories with the students in Secaucus. This was the first time that the high school had had any type of intervention.

Breast Cancer Awareness Hair Show
The womens residential program in Newark dedicated a Hair Show for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The ladies researched statistics about breast cancer, created signs for during the show and made a presentation about what each sign meant. They also researched how to be healthier through good eating habits and quitting smoking.

Helping Out in Secaucus
On April 3rd, Mayor Gonnelli gave a ’shout-out’ for the great work our student-members in Secaucus do within the community – “Integrity House provides landscaping and shovels snow  in town for residents who cannot do it themselves.”
